We’re bringing Paul back to forage with us in Carlisle at Sweet Autumn Farm! Limited Enrollment!!

Come and enjoy a guided walk through our beautiful forests while learning about wild mushrooms!

Paul Lagrèze owner of New England Wild Edibles will be leading a mushroom foraging walk - Chanterelles, chicken of the woods, oysters, honey mushrooms, turkey tails and puff balls, are just a few of the mycelial treasures found throughout the forests during this time of year. We will discuss the intricate relationship between these ancient life forms and the forests as we forage the wild mushrooms native to the Northeast. Thanks to all the rain, we expect to experience lots of mushrooms this year! So, bring your harvesting baskets, stout shoes, and bug spray, for a day of mushroom identification and adventure! Learning to identify wild mushrooms is imperative for safety. Meeting these mushrooms up close and personally will help you to identify mushrooms for future eating and medicine making!

Space is limited to only 15 people, so register early to ensure your place in the workshop! Sunday may be added as an additional day of foraging if registration allows.

Dress against ticks- Wear light colored pants tucked into your socks so you can see the ticks before they get to your skin. Watch for ticks on your clothing (do tick checks) regularly during activities and especially when you come in from outdoor activities.

Bring a collecting basket, sturdy shoes, bug spay and a camera for this guided tour with mushroom expert Paul Lagrèze who has studied and cultivated gourmet mushrooms for 20 years.

Learning to decipher the differences between the hands and what they reveal to us allows us to decipher a plethora of things. Determine the strengths, weaknesses, & potential blockages within an individual through their hands! Due to the fact that hands can change it is a great way to get a current reflection on who we are now and the stresses we are under. This course will offer all the necessary information to interpret the meanings of the hands, palms, and lines.
