This is what some of our students have to say:

“I’ve always wanted to learn natural medicine. Two years ago I started at the Boston School of Herbal Studies with the level one herbal apprenticeship. The programming provides a combination of classroom and rich hands-on experience. At the Boston School I discovered a warm, welcoming and supportive community and developed friendships that will last a lifetime.” Diane Long

"My apprenticeship with the Boston School of Herbal Studies was the most empowering journey of my life thus far. Learning to care for myself, my family, and my community through herbal medicine is a priceless gift. The teachers are knowledgeable and compassionate, the education is current and relevant, and the community is safe, loving, and joyful. What I love about herbalism is that no matter how many books there are on the topic, much of this path is still an oral tradition. Nothing can compare to working directly with the plants under the guidance of well experienced teachers who are incredibly passionate about passing on their knowledge. This is exactly what you get at BSHS."

"Before signing up for the first level apprenticeship program with the Boston School of herbal studies, I was a bit lost. I had graduated college, received a certificate as a holistic health counselor, and completed a yoga teacher training, but I still didn't know what I wanted to do. I knew I was interested in medicinal plants, so I decided to take this apprenticeship program in the summer of 2012. That summer changed my life, and my love for herbal medicine grew to become my biggest passion.  When I completed the program, I was left confident in the plants that surrounded me, and was incredibly inspired to start creating my own recipes.  What really called to me. was creating my own online shop selling high-integrity wild crafted products.  Through the confidence and wisdom I gained through both of these programs, my business Lala Earth was created.  I now sell worldwide, and I focus on wildcrafted skin care products and medicinal tonics.  I live in my home in southern Vermont and am fully self-employed. I somehow walked into my dream life, and I know none of this would be possible if I hadn't taken these apprenticeship courses. Thank you Madelon, Tommy, Melanie, and Linda for guiding me on this path, and for helping me find my calling."
