On Saturday, we will look at the immune system from an energetic framework - the primordial connection between kidneys, blood, bone marrow and immunity. We will examine immune factors produced in the marrow, explore how deep lingering infections can lead to deficiency and discuss the herbal remedies that address this complex challenge.  We will look at autoimmunity in general and then highlight specific diseases such as Hashimoto’s, Rheumatoid arthritis and Diabetes. The herbs covered will be those that address the presenting tissue states.

On Sunday, we will look at how the tissue states in the Western Energetic system describe our inner terrain in regards to infectious disease.  “If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat, diseased tissue – rather than being the cause of the diseased tissue, in the way that mosquitos seek the stagnant water, but do not cause the pool to become stagnant” Rudolf Virchow  and “There are no specific diseases: there are specific disease conditions.” Florence Nightingale This is not to discount the germ theory by any means. Clearly, epidemics exist, but when looking at increased susceptibility as well as speed of recovery, the inner terrain has profound implications.
